Privacy Policy - Kavro

1. Summary

Kavro is an offline-first personal finance app developed by Irfan Shadik Rishad. Kavro is designed to keep your finance data private and local.

• Kavro does not require an account.
• Kavro does not use ads.
• Kavro does not use analytics SDKs or tracking SDKs.
• Kavro does not sync your finance data to cloud servers.
• Your wallets, transactions, budgets, loans, debts, goals, assets, categories, settings, backups, and reports are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
• Premium purchases are handled through Google Play and RevenueCat so Kavro can unlock premium features and respond to refunds or subscription changes.

2. Information Stored Locally

Kavro stores the finance data you enter into the app on your device. This may include:

• Wallet names, balances, currencies, and colors
• Income, expense, and transfer transactions
• Transaction categories
• Budgets
• Loans and debts
• Savings goals and goal contributions
• Assets
• Recurring transaction rules
• Financing activity history
• App settings, theme preferences, and premium feature state
• Backup and export folder preferences

This data is stored locally using device storage such as SQLite and secure device storage where appropriate. Kavro does not upload this finance data to Kavro servers.

3. App Lock And Biometrics

If you enable app lock, Kavro may use your device biometric authentication or device security features through the operating system.

Kavro does not receive or store your fingerprint, face data, biometric template, or device passcode. The device operating system handles biometric verification. App lock settings may be stored locally on your device.

4. Backups, Exports, And Restore

Kavro lets you export backups and reports to files on your device. These files are created only when you choose to export them.

Backup and export files may contain your finance data. You are responsible for where you save, share, upload, or delete those files after export.

If encrypted backup is available and enabled, Kavro encrypts the backup using the passphrase you provide. Kavro cannot recover your passphrase. If you lose it, the encrypted backup may not be restorable.

5. Purchases And Premium Features

Kavro uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to manage premium purchases, subscriptions, lifetime unlocks, entitlement checks, purchase restoration, and refund/subscription status updates.

When you use premium purchase features, Google Play and RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as product identifiers, purchase tokens or receipts, subscription status, renewal and expiration information, refund or cancellation state, and anonymous app user or installation identifiers used for entitlement management.

Kavro does not receive or store your full credit card number, debit card number, bank account details, or full payment credentials. Payment processing is handled by Google Play and its payment providers.

6. Device Permissions

• File access or document picker: to export backups/reports or import backup files that you choose.
• Biometric or device authentication: to protect app access when app lock is enabled.
• Billing: to purchase, restore, and verify premium features through Google Play.
• Mail composer: to help you contact support when you choose to submit a bug or send an email.
• Home-screen widget data: to display selected local finance information in Android widgets, if supported and enabled.

7. Support Emails

If you contact support, your email address, message content, attachments, and any information you choose to include may be received and used to respond to your request. Do not send sensitive financial details unless they are necessary for support.

8. Data Sharing

Kavro does not sell your personal data. Kavro does not share your local finance data with advertisers, analytics providers, banks, or cloud sync services.

• Google Play and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement information for premium features.
• Your email provider processes messages you send to support.
• Your operating system and selected file providers handle files you choose to export, save, import, share, or back up.

9. Data Retention And Deletion

• Your finance data remains on your device until you delete it, restore over it, clear app data, or uninstall Kavro.
• Exported backup and report files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself.
• Purchase records and subscription history may be retained by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own policies and legal obligations.
• Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to your request, maintain support history, and comply with legal obligations.

10. Security

Kavro is designed to minimize data exposure by keeping finance data local. However, no app, device, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

• Keep your device locked
• Enable app lock if available
• Use encrypted backups for sensitive backup files
• Store exported files in a trusted location
• Delete backup or report files you no longer need

11. Children

Kavro is not directed to children under 13. Kavro does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International Processing

Kavro itself stores your finance data locally. However, purchase-related information handled by Google Play or RevenueCat may be processed in countries other than your own according to their policies.

13. Your Choices

• Use Kavro without creating an account.
• Keep finance data only on your device.
• Delete individual records inside the app where supported.
• Delete all local Kavro data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
• Delete exported backup/report files from your device or storage provider.

14. Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as Kavro changes. If material changes are made, the effective date will be updated.
